ROBIN HILL FARM COUNTY PARK

Just north of Hwy 101 when traveling between Sequim and Port Angeles you should venture off and explore the Robin Hill Farm County Park which consists of 195 beautiful acres. The acres include wetlands, grass fields, agricultural farming and gardening, forest management, and plant propagation. Something for everyone to enjoy. The sights and smells, the fresh air and exercise, make this County Park a great place to visit no matter what the weather is, all year long.
There are two parking lots on different ends of the park. If you turn north onto Dryke Road (while traveling Hwy 101 West), you will spot the parking lot on the right-hand side of the road. If you were on Old Olympic Hwy and turned on Vautier and then on to Pinnell, the parking lot is on your left. At this entrance is also where the Olympic Discovery Trail goes along the property line.
The Park’s gate hours are ½ hour before sunrise to ½ hour after sunset. It is free to visit the park. There are geocache sites to find, a meadow to explore in (which in wintertime becomes a great place to go sledding at), a pond, and so much more, right in our back door.
There are 3.4 miles of foot trails and 3.3 miles of equestrian trails. Some people have admitted to me they became lost in the park, even with the maps that are available. I think it is just so pretty, and when we get to talking, we don’t pay attention to where we are which can result in our taking a wrong turn. No problem, just keep walking and you will find someone who can help you, or you will eventually find the right trail to get back to your car.
The Park asks that dogs, cats, and other pets and livestock be on a leash of not more than 8’ at all times. You are asked to please clean up after your pet.
